This year across two days in July, 44,000 festival goers are set to enjoy performances from a whole range of current chart stars together with some of the biggest acts from the 80s. 96.4FM BRMB is the exclusive radio partner providing unique, unrivalled coverage of the event across the West Midlands.
The event will take place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July at Tamworth Castle Pleasure grounds, Tamworth, situated just 15 minutes from Birmingham City Centre. Saturday will see some of the biggest chart topping acts from the 80s on the festival stage and Sunday will play host to many of today’s biggest chart stars.
Damien Sanders, Communications Director of The Midlands Music Festival says;
“We were thrilled with the success of last year’s festival but this year is going to truly blow everyone away. We were really lucky to secure some extraordinary acts last year like Blue, JLS and The Sugababes but I can promise you that this year’s line up is even bigger and better.
“Following the overwhelmingly positive reaction from everyone involved, we have expanded the festival to two days this year and increased the capacity by 7,000 each day and as a result have managed to keep ticket prices low and give great value to festival goers as well as great entertainment. I am sure with our amazing line up and a very attractive ticket price, The Midlands Music Festival will be seen as THE value for money event of the year and one definitely not to miss.”
The official launch of this year’s event takes place on Monday 26th April. The Breakfast show on 96.4FM BRMB at 7:45AM will give details of the first acts to be announced, with further announcements every morning throughout the week. Tickets go on sale Friday the 30th April at 9AM on a first come, first served basis.
All proceeds from the event will once again go to Just 1 Life, the premature baby charity, helping mothers and babies affected by premature birth across the West Midlands.
