Shakatak were formed thirty years ago and have released a staggering 47 albums along the way. The five piece British jazz-funk band scored top ten hits with 80′s singles ‘Night Birds’ and ‘Down on the Street’ and have created a huge fanbase in Japan and the Far East along the way.
The band, fronted by Jill Saward, still regularly hit the touring circuit, and we are delighted to have them on the bill for The Midlands Music Festival 2010.
