Tickets For Troops
We're pleased to announce that we have donated a limited number of tickets to the Tickets for Troops programme. Tickets for Troops is an independent charity dedicated to offering free tickets for major cultural, sporting and musical events to United Kingdom's soldiers, sailors and airmen. All serving military personnel as well as any veterans who have been medically discharged through injury since 2001 qualify for tickets. We look forward to welcoming serving personnel to the Festival.... -

Vuvuzelas banned from the Festival
We can announce that vuvezelas have been banned from The Midlands Music Festival. The musical instrument that has plagued the South African World Cup this summer will not ruin anyone's weekend in Tamworth. Communciations director Damien Sanders said, "It's a word that we didn't know a week ago. The danger is that things spiral, England as a team progress and more and more branded vuvuzelas appear all over the place."
