Kajagoogoo are best known for their 1983 single ‘Too Shy’, which reached number 1 in the UK charts.

The five piece avant-garde instrumental group stormed the charts during the early-mid 80′s, with popular tracks ‘Ooh to Be Aah’ and ‘Hang on Now’ both storming into the top 20. However, the band split in 1986.

Original members Nick Beggs, Steve Askew and Stuart Neale got back together in 2007, and released the first Kajagoogoo single in 22 years with the track ‘Rocket Boy’. Twelve months later, lead singer Limahl and drummer Jez Strode also returned to the original Kajagoogoo line-up.

Since reuniting, the group have toured Europe extensively, and they are sure to be a big hit at The Midlands Music Festival 2010.
